Jessica Spratt
Jessica studied geology for her first degree at Carleton University (Ontario, Canada).
During that time, she spent some summers (1998-2001) as an intern at the GSC (Ottawa) in the MT group and completed her honours thesis in MT.
Receiving a MSc degree from Syracuse University (New York, USA) in 2003 with a thesis in applied magnetotellurics (MT), Jessica then spent several years as an MT surveyor with the Geological Survey of Canada, then with the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies in Ireland. Since 2006, she has been providing services in all aspects of magnetotellurics as an independent contractor. She has participated in over 40 MT projects worldwide over the past 30 years, providing extensive experience in the acquisition, processing, modelling, and interpretation of audio- (AMT), broadband (BBMT), and long-period (LPMT) magnetotelluric data.
Jessica joined Moombarriga Canada Inc. as a founder and director in 2018 and continues to manage all of their MT Canadian operations.
